Wrapping up 2017 #1: Wedding

Most of my life events actually happened in the second semester of the year. Kalau mau meng-highlight, sebetulnya cuma ada 3 peristiwa yang menurutku betul-betul perlu ditulis di sini untuk dikenang. Yang pertama, pernikahan.

Sejak pertengahan tahun 2016 lalu sebetulnya saya dan Rizal sudah sepakat untuk menikah. Ya, sepakat. Semua serba dibicarakan, mulai kesiapan mental, psikologis, sampai finansial. Rizal bukan tipe orang yang suka berbasa-basi. Pun bukan tipe romantis yang apa-apa harus diungkapkan pakai bunga. Jadi ya nggak kaget kalau cara dia melamar adalah lewat pembicaraan, tanpa berlutut menyodorkan cincin berkata "Will you marry me?".  Akhir tahun lalu, Rizal memberanikan diri datang ke rumah untuk nembung ke orang tuaku dan menyatakan niatnya untuk serius, dilanjutkan sekitar 2-3 bulan setelah itu orang tuanya datang ke rumah untuk melamar.

Lebih empat puluh hari

Jujur sih, beberapa celetukanku, beberapa gaya bercanda dan gaya nyamberin orang-ku itu terpengaruh dari kamu atau bahkan mengkopi kamu.

Ya, sejujurnya memang sebegitu berpengaruhnya kamu di hidupku.

Kita memang jarang ketemu. Jarang banget. Apalagi setelah lulus kuliah. Bahkan sudah sejak pisah kelas dan kembali ke jurusan masing-masing pun kita jarang ketemu.

Tapi paling enggak, entah seminggu sekali, dua minggu sekali, kapanpun itu, setiap ada artis, orang aneh, temen kuliah *ups*, bahkan apapun yang perlu dikomentarin, pasti kamu orang pertama yang aku bagi. Kenapa ya, kayak.. Tanggapanmu pasti khas banget! Selalu ngakak, komentar nggak-penting-tapi-penting, bahkan sampe nyinyir berjamaah.

First blog post

Well, this is my... fourth or fifth (?) blog since 2007. So, basically I've been inconsistently writing since 10 years ago. Yes, inconsistent. Because I had no certain topic to write, or too shy to publish my stories (which for me it's too deep, or you may say that those are too cheesy), then left it unpublished on the draft.

I'll write in English or Bahasa, depends on my mood.. Probably about my life, some pictures, travels.. Anything that can beat my friends' (Mba Yuwan and Ganes) challenge.



So, hello again.

After thousands of drafts,

Many unwritten stories,

Unspoken thoughts,

Regardless that my blog account almost gone, I am trying to post this one

Now I finally here with some tagline says “time flies”

Quarter life

The ages when the young me always imagine how would it feel to be at the current me

 

The things I’ve planned in my early 20’s are barely touchable

(Well, not that I was planning something huge but at least those are dreams and dreams should always be dreams, anyway)

People say, early twenties are important as you’ll get major changes in life after some decision that brought you to your first stepping stone

I agree

I stroll around my old posts and read some of them

There was, I keep reminding myself to get back when I’m lost

Lost to what I actually aim of

Lost to the things I dreamed of

Or getting away to my passion I called home of my soul

But that’s about life

: Choice

Whether you have to sacrifice yours or others’

We can never please everyone, right?

After all,

We’ll work on the plan B

The spontaneous yet continuous one

: Cherish the life
